A voyage into the archaeological area of the ancient city of Portus.
This extraordinary place, which along with Ancient Ostia, is the second archaeological area in Italy after Rome in terms of importance and size, will hopefully soon become a place of cultural prestige with a sole project. The Port of Claudius and Trajan was Imperial Rome’s window over the Mediterranean; today it is a priceless part of our natural historical heritage and according to the archaeologist Keay it is one of the most important archaeological sites in the world.
