The Lions Club International Foundation (LCIF) has been supporting different LIONS services all around the world since 1968, when it was created. It contributed with 10,000 grants for more than 800 million USD. The four core service commitment program areas are: disaster, preserving sight, meeting social needs and serving youth. Our Foundation has been classified as the most reliable NGO in the world. Standard grants, international assistance grants (IAG) , core 4 grants, grants for emergency, grants for disaster, specific grants can be provided.
The Humanitarian Award nomination is awarded by the Lions Clubs International President to a person of “substantial humanitarian accomplishment.” and includes a contribution of 250,000 USD; Jimmy Carter and Mother Teresa of Calcutta were awarded the Humanitarian Award. Let’s not waste such a resource!
